Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction 201221

            Due to clouds near the horizon, we were not expecting to see the conjunction, but, by luck it barely cleared the clouds, and the camera was ready from another project. We had less than two minutes to focus and get set the exposure for this photo before the pair went back into the thin clouds. Photo by David & Leona Illig. The fuzziness around Jupiter is due to atmospheric haze. This photo is unprocessed beyond what takes place out of my view as the raw file is imported into Lightroom Classic and exported as a JPEG.
