            - Road Trip en Islande - Jour 4
- Suivont la route 1 Þjóðvegur vers Höfn la dernière étape sur le Sud Est de l'Islande . Une étape très attendue par moi pour découvrir le " Vestrahorn " ou Batman Mountain !
- Bon et bien voilà j'y suis, j'y reste ! le temps est horrible, tempête de vent de sable noir et poussière de lave ... brouillard, nuages très bas... bref c'est pas top.
Mais l'ambiance est irréelle .
- Après un bon café à la ferme auberge et payé mon droit de passage, direction la station Radar de Stokksness, comme un fantôme dans le paysage . Je décide d'orienter la voiture afin d'avoir un peu de visibilité sur le Vestrahorn et éviter l'accumulation de sable sur le pare brise, il y a un vent par bourrasque qui fait trembler la voiture qui devient très vite toute noire.
Attendre ! la météo annonce la fin de la tempête vers 18 heures ... 3 heures à attendre ... musique (Jazz), lecture et de temps en temps une tentative de sortie pour quelques clichés ... pas question de poses longues c'est impossible ! encore moins de changer d'objectif en dehors de la voiture ... la poussière de sable est tellement fine ça rentre partout .
- Je réussis  tant bien que mal, 2 panoramiques de plusieurs photos... mais c'est très difficile . 18h30 et toujours la tempête, je décide à 19 h. de partir et me réfugier à Höfn , premier travail, laver la voiture et c'est pas du luxe ( merci les Stations N1 qui offrent ce service gratuit dans toute l'Islande ) ensuite recherche de mon logement et une bonne " Humar Sup " en fait une soupe de langoustine, Höfn étant un port de pêche de ces crustacés .
Demain en repassant vers la pointe extrême Sud-Est du Vestrahorn le temps sera peut être meilleur ? 

- L'Islande c'est la terre, le vent, le feu, l'eau et la glace ...

- Road Trip in Iceland - Day 4
- Follow road 1 Þjóðvegur to Höfn - Beautiful landscapes but the weather turns bad after Jökulsárlón - Höfn the last stage on the South East of Iceland. A step eagerly awaited by me to discover the "Vestrahorn" or Batman Mountain!
- Well, here I am, I am staying there! the weather is horrible, black sand windstorm and lava dust ... fog, very low clouds ... in short, it's not great.
But the atmosphere is unreal.
- After a good coffee at the farmhouse and paid my right of way, head to the Stokksness Radar station, like a ghost in the landscape. I decide to steer the car in order to have a little visibility on the Vestrahorn and to avoid the accumulation of sand on the windshield, there is a gusty wind which makes the car tremble which very quickly becomes quite black.
Wait ! the weather forecast announces the end of the storm around 6 p.m. ... 3 hours to wait ... music (Jazz), reading and from time to time an attempt to go out for a few shots ... no question of long exposures it's impossible ! even less to change lenses outside the car ... the sand dust is so fine it fits everywhere.
- I succeed somehow, 2 panoramas of several photos ... but it is very difficult. 6.30 p.m. and still the storm, I decide at 7 p.m. to leave and take refuge in Höfn, first job, wash the car and it's not luxury (thank you N1 Stations which offer this free service throughout Iceland) then search for my accommodation and a good "Humar Sup" in makes langoustine soup, Höfn being a fishing port for these crustaceans.
Tomorrow as we cross back to the extreme south-eastern point of Vestrahorn the weather will be perhaps better?
