Sailing into the Moon - a photo on Flickriver

"Sailing into the Moon" by Patti Deters. A lone sailboat can be seen far out in the vast ocean drifting along the horizon of the deep blue sea. The sails are full of wind as the vessel moves slowly towards the bright pale orange super moon. This could be a moon rise or moon set, but either way it appears as if the journey has just begun. The reflecting waters of the bay are mostly calm with just enough wind to help move the vessel out to sea. Perhaps the ship is traveling to distant lands or maybe just out for an evening sail in the moonlit night. Several textures and overlays have been blended on this seascape photograph to create this nautical scene.
