Grand Trunk Western 5956 - a photo on Flickriver

            GT 5956 was a 1971 GMD built SD40 (serial number A2522) that was rebuilt to SD40-3 in 1999. It is rated at 3000 hp and has Co-Co trucks.  It was originally CN 5205, then rebuilt by ALSTOM Canada to SD40-3 and became KCS 6639 until being leased back to CN in 2002 and numbered GTW5956. 
GT5956 was the trailing unit in train 422 at Bayview on Sunday, December 24th, 2006.
