66198_2111_East_Midlands_Parkway - a photo on Flickriver

            A tale of two “cameras”

I had decided to set up for 66198 working 4L38, 10:57 East Midlands Gateway – Felixstowe with a long telephoto shot as it passed through East Midlands Parkway station. However, as 4L38 approached in the distance I realised that due to crossing over from the Up Fast to Up Slow just north of the station, its relatively slow speed meant that I might get a second wide angle shot using my Samsung S20 phone camera. 

This is the result of that rather hurried “second shot” with the cooling towers of Ratcliffe on Soar power station dominating this composition version, 5th November 2021.
