Willie McGee is currently serving as an Assistant Coach for the St. Louis Cardinals with responsibilities including outfield play, base running and hitting. He is a decorated member of the Cardinals organization (as you can see from the accolades above) and a beloved figure among Cardinals fans. This is the second time that I have had the opportunity to see Mr. McGee at the ballpark...the first was back in the mid '80s as a player. And, the most recent was just a couple of weeks ago at a game against the Pirates as a coach. Thank you Willie for all the great Cardinal memories!!
