            - With 100 people "canned" in the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn going up to the top of the Zugspitze (2,962 m).

The Zugspitze, at 2,962 m (9,718 ft) above sea level, is the highest peak of the Wetterstein Mountains (Eastern Alps) as well as the highest mountain in Germany.
The top is divided into a German (Bavaria) and an Austrian zone (Tyrol).
