Lunar eclipse over Lick Observatory - a photo on Flickriver

I headed to the Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve, located above the Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. I positioned myself so that the full moon would rise just above the Lick Observatory. The moon was in a partial eclipse when it rose, the bright part in the upper right is the normal appearance lit by the sun, the rest is dark because the sunlight is blocked by Earth. The moon appeared very big because of the 10 miles (16 km) distance.

I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
