Stuck in a dream

Last November we went to the Four Mile Beach north of Santa Cruz, California. It was a beautiful afternoon, no clouds. I took this long exposure shot in the blue hour 30 minutes after sunset using an ND8 neutral density filter on the vintage Dream Lens.

I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and the curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
