It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

For the last few years we spent an extended weekend at the Black Rock Desert in Nevada to attend Balls, a big experimental rocket launch event. Fire is permitted on the dry lakebed, but only in an elevated camping fire pit. This is to protect the desert playa.

I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
