A new life begins (Pentacon AV f2.8 80mm)

Today I tested a new addition I got from Germany via eBay: A Pentacon AV f2.8 80mm vintage projection lens. It creates a bokeh with flat bubbles. The eBay seller promised "a bokeh as Trio plan". However, I think there is no comparison, the vintage Trioplan produces flat circles with sharp edges. This Pentacon produces a washed out bokeh IMHO, what do you think? I took this bud shot this morning at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California, where I join a Zen meditation class on Saturdays.

I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
