The islands of the Borromeo family - a photo on Flickriver

We spent the weekend in a nice historical hotel on Lago Maggiore (Lake Maggiore) in northern Italy near Switzerland. This part of Italy is very picturesque. On Saturday night we went to eat at a restaurant that overlooks Lago Maggiore. At the end of the lake at the center left is Switzerland. To the left is Isola dei Pescatori (fisherman's island), to the right is Isola Bella (beautiful island). The Borromeo family owned many islands in this region, they were merchants at San Miniato around 1300, and became bankers at Milan after 1370.

I processed a balanced, and paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
