Celebrate the sunrise - a photo on Flickriver

Two years ago I went to Switzerland to celebrate the eightieth birthday of my mom. She runs a bed & breakfast in a small village in the Swiss Alps called Schuders. I got up early one day and hiked up the mountain to celebrate the sunrise.

I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW long exposure, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and pulled the curves to pop the scene.
