Building a tunnel in the desert - a photo on Flickriver

Last September we spent 2 1/2 days at a camp with rocketeers in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. Kids had fun launching rockets, and doing other things. One girl had a white pet rat. They dug a hole in the desert, and buried a cardboard tube to build a tunnel for the rat. The kids had a good time playing and running around. At one time they almost stepped on the rat, by accident - close call. I want to be a kid again!

I processed a balanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and added some vignetting.
