Mountain snake [Explore 2014-12-23]

Today we went skiing on Mt. Rose, near Reno, Nevada. I met another photographer after taking the last lift up to the top. We climbed up on the summit to wait for the sunset. It was worth it. We found some twisted wood. The light got better and better, resulting in this.

I processed a soft HDR photo from three RAW exposures.
