Peacock - a photo on Flickriver

            Treeton Dyke, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. I was fortunate that this butterfly came to rest on a single stem of Knapweed that proved just about tall enough to ensure the subject was reasonably well isolated from the ground vegetation in the resultant photograph - which was taken looking almost vertically downwards.
