Scorpion - a photo on Flickriver

As promised I said I'd upload some more of the 'Ice Creatures' I managed to find at Jokusarlon in Iceland (The Bear in the hat will follow)...

This was right at the tail end of Sunset, a cracking full day from Sunrise being spent around this area.

Last time I was here it just did not compare to this visit, the sheer amount of icebergs, and even better the amount of curiously shaped ones was off the scale!

I nearly missed this one as I headed back up the beach to pack up for the day, it was only upon getting closer that the icy form of the creature became evident, with it taking a battering from the sea no doubt it's 'tail' didn't last long !

One of the most surreal things I've ever seen.
