Icy Flow

I've not been uploading and on here much lately again as I've recently been away to Skye, which was a fantastic trip so I've got all those images to work through now as well, which to be honest is a nice kind of dilemma as I'd much rather have a pile of images to do then none at to go at at all...

This was shot at Godafoss in Northern Iceland on a bitterly cold day, the falls here are massive and as tempting as it is to just get the overall bigger image of the place I was really taken with this small section of the falls breaking through the snow and Ice so I decided to go in a lot tighter to just capture this part of it.

It was great just watching the falls here, more so in this weather as every now and again huge chunks of ice would tumble over the falls and make their way along the river.
