In the golden hour of a winter evening, the Groenburgwal canal in Amsterdam glows with warm, amber light. The low sun casts long shadows across the water, gently illuminating the historic brick facades and leafless trees lining the canal. At the end of the waterway, the slender spire of the Zuiderkerk rises into the soft pastel sky, its silhouette glowing against the fading light—a serene and timeless winter scene.
