Nuraghe Bùrghidu – Ozieri - a photo on Flickriver

            Testimonianza mirabile dell'architettura nuragica, posto a dominio della piana di Ozieri e purtroppo triste esempio di colpevole abbandono, il Bùrghidu presenta oggi solo la torre principale che un tempo era collegata ad altre quattro secondarie. La caratteristica che subito colpisce chi visita il nuraghe è la presenza di un grande squarcio nel paramento murario, squarcio provocato da un crollo strutturale avvenuto chissà quando e da cui è possibile vedere il vano e la parete interna della scala a livello del finestrone. Paradossalmente proprio il danno subìto ci permette di ammirare una sezione perfetta del nuraghe e anche apprezzarne la tecnica costruttiva, ma lo stato di degrado in cui versa il monumento è comunque inammissibile.
