269.902 a cargo del Diurno País Vasco-Galicia.

            Estas eran las fotos que más me gustaban hace 15 años:  lo más  cerca posible de la vía y con el tren ejerciendo un protagonismo casi tiránico sobre un escenario condenado a un papel secundario. Y la estación de Calzada de Bureba me encantaba  porque tenía un paso a nivel que te avisaba de la llegada de los trenes, algo muy útil en unos tiempos en los que sabíamos muy poco o nada de las circulaciones que tenía la línea. Por las mañanas podías contar también con la información de un factor de circulación muy amable con los fotógrafos aunque  poco tiempo después su presencia fue considerada innecesaria. Si algo tiene de particular esta foto, al menos para mi, es la presencia en cabeza del tren de la 269.902, la única locomotora de la Serie 900 que recibió los colores de Grandes Líneas. Bueno, eso, y que un Diurno con seis coches tampoco era moco de pavo, ni tan siquiera hace quince años. 

These were the photos that I liked the most 15 years ago: as close as possible to the track and with the train playing an almost tyrannical role on a stage condemned to a secondary role. And I loved the Calzada de Bureba station because it had a level crossing that warned you of the arrival of the trains, something very useful at a time when we knew very little or nothing about the circulations of the line. In the morning you could also count on the information of a circulation factor that was very kind to the photographers, although a short time later his presence was considered unnecessary. If there is something special about this photo, at least for me, it is the presence of the 269,902 at the head of the train , the only locomotive of the 900 Series that received the livery  "Grandes Lineas". Well, that, and what the "Diurno" train with six cars was not something usual, not even fifteen years ago.
