Boiler suit, bobble hat . . . - a photo on Flickriver

. . . and wellington boots, a suitable draught-free outfit for outside work on our exposed cliff-top location at Southerndown. It was nearly always draughty there, even a 10mph wind would have an edge to it, but it was a lovely place to live for the 28 years we were there.

Not 100% sure about the date but think it's spring of 1985 and I am doing some dry-stone walling following a collapse during the preceeding winter. It was quite therapeutic repairing our walls and I quite enjoyed the work. I am using the 1960s Autotruck to move stone, we had a huge pile of it especially for repairs of this nature.
