A Holiday Tradition - a photo on Flickriver

            There are lots of traditions associated with the holidays that started out pagan but became part of Christmas. That tree in your house is just one example.

We at one24thscale wish you and yours a happy Christmas, blessed Hanukah, super Solstice and a terrific Kwanza as we join the likes of Norman Rockwell, Currier and Ives, even Hallmark, in crafting a few scenes designed to tug at your heartstrings this season.

We were lucky to find the town veterinarian Fred Rothzutti and his daughter Paula out gathering their tree. Where are they you ask? Well they are gathering pine boughs and cones for garlands and wreaths at the moment. If you stick around you may get to hear Paula sing a carol or two. Our church choir director, Johann Deutschendorf says she has a future in showbiz. She sure has put a spark in his choir.

I’d love to stick around and write more but right now, I need to engage in another holiday tradition, last minute shopping!
