OwlCharms_A7R5751-70 - a photo on Flickriver

              Two little owls on our window sill.  A google search on the mythology of owls reveals a gamut of beliefs about these marvelous birds.  Everything from good luck symbols to harbingers of death.  I suppose due to being nocturnal and eerily silent in flight have led them to a reputation for being ghostly. At any rate the largest of these little charms is about 40mm tall.  The smaller of the two is called a worry stone.  The idea is to rub it between your thumb and fore finger when feeling anxious.  I'm not often anxious and it belongs to my wife so I've never tried using it and I don't know if it works. HMM!  Thank you for any views, faves and comments.
