            As the 21st Century begins to take a shape that will find its ultimate expression in the mid-22nd century concepts of ‘consumptionism’ will evolve into political, economic and cultural forces to be reckoned with. The proponents of consumptionist ideology will conceive political campaigns to unite the middle class globally. Once complete the consumptionist will demand concessions from corporations and governments that will enlarge their global economy allowing a consumptionist culture to become entrenched. The consumptionists will turn their primary attention to human and environmental enhancement having solved the current unequal distribution of resources that our economies currently suffer cyclically. Health, intellect and longevity within consumptionist regions will outpace the regions outside of their influence. Their ultimate goal will  be to produce a human that can potentially flourish off planet thereby significantly decreasing the risk of humans going extinct...over specialization breathes out weakness, will be one of their mottos. Trees don’t fight that’s why they are so successful, another consumptionist motto; another motto, humans first and foremost before all systems or creations.
