Knast/ Prison

            Die "Preußische Gefangenen- Anstalt" von 1848 in Münster/ Westfalen war bis 1969 ein Zuchthaus, d. h. ein Gefängnis mit strafverschärfenden Haftbedingungen und steht längst unter Denkmalschutz. Das nach dem Vorbild des Gefängnisses in Berlin Moabit errichtete Gebäude ist noch voll in Betrieb.

The "Prussian prison-institution" from 1848 in Münster/ Germany was a penitentiary till 1969, a prison that is aggravating with prison conditions. The building is modeled on the Berlin Moabit Prison and it is already listed, but still up and running.
