Tanzlinde in Rheine - I shot film - a photo on Flickriver

Ein besonderes Naturdenkmal ist die über 160 Jahre alte Tanzlinde, die am Wohnhaus des Salineninspektors in Rheine Bentlage gepflanzt wurde. Auf die in einer Höhe geschnittenen Äste wurden bei Veranstaltungen Holzbretter als Tanzfläche auflegt.

A very special natural monument, a linden about 160 years of age. The trees branches were all cut to the same height. At events boards was placed on the branches and that was the dance floor.
