2023 NMH Founder’s Day

            On Feb. 1, 2023, Northfield Mount Hermon celebrated Founder’s Day with a keynote address in Memorial Chapel by NMH Farm Program Director Jake Morrow. There were remarks by Head of School Brian Hargrove, Chaplain Lee-Ellen Strawn, and students Wilson Cheung ’24, Jasper Graham ’23, and Oma Tasie-Amadi. The program included performances by the NMH Concert Band led by Director Steve Bathory-Peeler, organist and music teacher Craig Sandford, and Roderick Demmings, director of choral programs. Founder’s Day is held near the anniversary of the birth of school founder Dwight Lyman Moody, who was born Feb. 5, 1837. Photography by Matthew Cavanaugh.
