Time and Tide Bell, Trinity Buoy Wharf, River Thames, London

            The brainchild of sculptor Marcus Vergette, this 3 metre high aluminium bronze cast bell is the third in a series of 12 such bells planned at locations throughout the UK. The bell is rung by the river to mark each high tide, and uniquely, the bell sounds different notes one after another, to form a rich melody. The Trinity Buoy Wharf bell was launched at high tide on September 19th 2010.
