Sand Patterns and Shadows - a photo on Flickriver

            Another shot I had never processed, well after dawn but the low sun produces great shadows and highlights the patterns in the black sand. I was walking back up the road to Stokksnes waiting for a lift back to the hotel and shot this with a Canon 11-24L. The patterns in the sand were fantastic and the fact no one has walked through the patterns created by the constant wind of the previous two days. Nearly the last shot of one of my favourite places in Iceland.
