Mallard Duck - a photo on Flickriver

Mallard Duck

            As I was walking down the path I noticed a female Mallard right off to the side of it. I turned the corner and it's mate was perched on a rock wall about chest height. I was surprised to see it there. There were a lot of Mallard pairs out of the water wandering around the lawns and bushes.
