Schoolboy dreams, "I want to be a train driver"

            This guy looks too young to be at work - but on the days I visited he was the "train driver", Fort William to Mallaig.
(A train driver, engine driver, engineman or locomotive driver, commonly known as an engineer in the United States and Canada, and also as a locomotive handler, locomotive operator, train operator, or motorman, is a person who drives a train. The driver is in charge of, and responsible for the mechanical operation of the train, train speed, and all train handling).

West Coast Railways, operators of 'The Jacobite', provided the steam engine and carriages for the 'Hogwarts Express' as seen in the 'Harry Potter' films

Fort William to Mallaig; this 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it visits Britain's most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig; passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, finally arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis!
