The Devil's in the detail, - a photo on Flickriver

The beautiful and staggering detail in his black and white images (in fact all of his image) amazed me.

A little instigation into his equipment showed some serious camera gear:

camera: Fujifilm GFX 100
Lens: GF 110mm F2

Far beyond my budget and I am not sure I would feel comfortable with such equipment out in the street.

So I had a little play with some of my older less expensive equipment to see what could be achieved. So; Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mk1, Panasonic 14-42mm zoom and a light from a shaving mirror, hand held.
