A Dream Realised

            Walking over the Col de Balm into Switzerland was an awesome and humbling experience. I can't remember a time when I haven't wanted to do just that and finally I got to realise a dream that I have had since I was a teenager. And it certainly lived up to my expectations. Walking through the meadow at the base of the valley into Le Peuty surrounded by the sound of birds, insects, the river and cowbells gave me one of the most satisfying feelings I have ever felt.
