101921 - October Storm Spooktakular

Greetings Everyone... I didn't think that I would get a chance to do another video for 2021 but the month of October has been fruitful. In fact this is the most active October for thunderstorms since 2010-2011.

One thing you can count on in Nebraska is the Seasonal Change. Every 4 months, right on time almost every year. Last few have been where our severe weather season ends about the 2nd week of September. Once every few years we see storms stay severe into late October & early November. 2021 is one of those years.

Now its late in the year and I don't get freaked out many things. But.... When there is a late night storm & I'm just shooting local. I have several places that I find without light and power lines. Also have to deal with trains & traffic. As the city has grown and expanded. I've had to find different places to do my thing.

Now again I don't get spooked out very much by the elements of severe weather. When the conditions are right... as of this evening of this shoot. The Corn that hasn't been harvested yet standing at 12-14 feet tall. Dried out and the winds is ferociously blowing... I'm parked by a church and graveyard.... what could go wrong.... It can be a little spooky!

The deer that came out of the cornfield just about 10 yards from the truck freaked me. Being by the Graveyard Freaked Me.... This storm Freaked Me....

Let alone say.... I survived. Just don't like that feeling when something is amiss... and can feel it. All along a raging thunderstorm. LOL
