042619 - Late Night Shelf Cloud (Part 1)

It has been a phenomenal month of storm captures in Nebraska... I finally got to break out my new HC-X1 Ultra 4K cam for this event... I'm still playing with all the features so to be honest, I'm still learning..... Oh and this 1" sensor on this is simply incredible! This vid speaks for itself. Shot this severe storm in infrared and in cinimagraphic ultra 4k.

To set up this vid, severe warnings went into effect about 8:00pm west of Lexington Nebraska, and on a good clear night like this one, it was more than just a good view from my setup location on the western outskirts of Kearney Nebraska. All equipment charged and set up in time for this beautiful light show from mother nature! A few of my chaser friends joined me that night as we all had a cameras ready and we had a lightning fest to record. Wow... and Epic Night! Can't wait for what May Brings....
