062418 - Now this is a Nebraska Stormscape (HD Video)

June 24, 2018 - Kearney Nebraska US

Wife & family on Holiday, I was working in the garage and I had a bad accident with a meat hook, yes I said Meat Hook. From about a 20 foot drop it landed directly on my left foot. Long story short, It would eventually cause blood infection and we all know how serious that is. Had a long stay at the hospital late July through early August. This effected my chasing for the rest of the summer and most of the fall of 2018. I'm on the mend as I write this post. Its been a long last few months of recovery but for those of you that are going to ask, I'm doing much better, day by day.

Even though I had a serious injury, I had gear packed and still went out like a trooper. Though being smart and safe about it I didn't leave my truck. Belive me when I say I wasn't feeling good that night, I wasn't. But my passion is stronger... Camera in hand... Click Click Click...

Severe Storms were developing just off to my east. From the Kansas border to South Dakota. This was just east of Kearney that evening.

Though I was sick...I still managed to go out a few times when I was off House Arrest, LOL! There is about 11,000 images to go through still and about 300 hours of video. Folks, there's more to come! Enjoy!
