Antietam Battlefield on a Foggy Day - a photo on Flickriver

            Though Gettysburg is an awesome place, Antietam is a spiritual one.  We both cried when we went there for the soldiers of the north and of the south - both are honored.  You can literally feel the soldier's souls throughout (many are still buried there in unknown graves), almost feel them marching and fighting and dying for their cause. 

Worth, worth, worth going to if you haven't been.  This photo is what we both felt when we went there with tears rolling down our faces. I added the buck in the background to show the peace and spirituality of the place.
