Day Dreamer...

Sometimes when the whole world is flying by at breakneck speed, you stop and take a moment to reflect and relax, remembering to take but a second to be aware of where you are and what is all around.

This was one of those moments. After spending quite a bit of time taking photos of the dozens of geese, swans and ducks that dotted the shoreline, I turned to find Karen, sitting on a bench, staring out into the vastness of the lake.

I put down my camera and then sitting beside her silently listening to the chirping of nearby starlings and the occasional fussing of the geese nearby. I really enjoyed the moment.
