In The Thicket...

Karen and i went for a nice long hike through the local woods; this is a place where we always can relax and unwind after a long week of fast paced work and home life. the silence and the stillness of the woods always makes me feel rested and refreshed.

Normally in my bag are an assortment of zooms and wide angle lenses bu not today... I thought i would challenge myself and only bring one lens to see how it would change my shooting style.

Today's the lens of choice is a nifty fifty Nikon 50mm F1.4 this lens forces me to shoot out of my comfort zone and to be more creative with my composition and framing. i have to stop and think about the shot more and use my feet to zoom in our out.
