Sunny Trail...

In November last year, the very week before the leaves were blown off the trees by a big wind storm; which left the forest stark and grey. Karen and I had made a trip to the park to get the best of fall shots. The fall colours were magnificent,, the yellows and golden hues lit up the trail. The late afternoon sun was almost setting by the time we were ready to leave. the waning sun found its way into the forest through gaps in the leafy canopy above, casting. long dark shadows all along the ground parallel to the trees that made them.
