Ice crystals against a pale blue sky glisten in the sun as On December 22 2013 Southern Ontario went through the worst ice storm in many years. Trees some hundreds of years old were destroyed by the weight of the two inch thick ice that encased their branches. So many branches broke under the weight of the ice that entire parks and forests were decimated..
