Perspective (Explored May 8 2022)

            I am always on the hunt for new waterfalls, I feel like I collect them as I photograph them.  I seek them out doing web research, but I am always trying not to comp-stomp someone's image.  So when I get there, I usually find the one spot most folks shoot from.  Its usually obvious.  So I look for the well worn spot and avoid it.  I try to scramble to a spot others might feel uncomfortable using, or simply get lower than most world (my camera has gone swimming a number of times).  In some cases, like this one, it means that the actual waterfall itself starts to take a back seat to another subject.  I posted an image of this waterfall, Soda Creek Falls, a few weeks ago, taken form a little more obvious spot.  I was in the water in the previous image, but it was still front and center, a bit more obvious.  In this image, I started to scale the edge of the ravine, looking for a unique perspective on the falls.  I found this great mossy-rock.  The water was going around both sides, and I loved that frame around the rock.  The falls could still play a role, but it was no longer the subject.  I had not seen this waterfall posted from this perspective, and I think it came out great, so good day.  Let me know what you think,
