Into the light (Explore June 27, 2021)

            Slot canyons are one of my favorite places to shoot.  Antelope Canyon has turned into a themepark (pre covid) so the other canyons are a far stronger draw for me.  This Canyon is Peek-A-Boo Canyon.  While it far busier here than many other more off-the-beaten-path canyons, it was still slow enough to get some great images. 

This comp draw me in because it has a mirror like quality and the wood stuck at the top made it feel more cave like.  

Next time you are in Grand Staircase, I highly recommend this one.  We did not get a chance to see his neighbor, Spooky Gulch, so it looks like we have to back.  Darn ;)
