What makes this so memorable is that I was using a 50mm prime lens on a set of extension tubes with my camera mounted on its tripod. This Dragonfly was alive and well, alert, flying around, the weather was warm, and he knew I was there...nonetheless he allowed me to literally get within an inch of his face to grab this micro! He sat still and patient until I finished my shots, I thanked him and he eventually flew off.
