            Airpower Arkansas Air Show 2006
This C-130 came into service for the USAF in August 1957. In November 1972 it was given to the South Vietnamese Air Force as part of the Military Assistance Program. In 1975 it was the last C-130 out of Vietnam during the Fall of Saigon. (The aircraft lifted off with an astonishing 452 on board destined for Thailand.) It was there that the USAF reclaimed the aircraft and it spent the next 14 years serving two different National Guard units in the US. The aircraft made it's final flight on June 28, 1989 to Little Rock AFB where it is now on display at the base entrance.
