Throwback Thursday -- Serious Business 1998

            By this time I was really into the career woman look, not really sure how or why that manifested itself. Probably watched too many episodes of Designing Women and Murphy Brown. Something about a smartly dressed professional woman really appealed to me, still does. Alas women rarely dress like this anymore.

This particular career lady doesn't seem all that happy to have her picture taken. It would be another several years before the light bulb went on informing me that these photos would be a whole lot more pleasant if you flashed a pretty smile. 

I still have a closet full of business wear, I have no idea what to do with it all. Perhaps I'll break out a power suit or two before the weather warms up.
