10-16-2020 Test Run Down

            On a cool and cloudy afternoon with snow in the forecast, CN 3205 is about 10 miles into a 1400 mile trip heading south with the first test all-rail taconite train between U.S Steel Minntac and a large bulk commodity facility named CMT (Convent Marine Terminal) on the lower Mississippi River near New Orleans, Louisiana for export to Europe. The train has 150 Ortner-like cars and using 2x2 locomotives (3205/3124/2829/2943) to load and move in excess of 19,000 tons of acid (non-flux) pellets.
