            A contrast in the 1960s ECW bodywork of former Southern Vectis Bristol MW single-decker 806 on the left dating from 1966 along with the 1970s ECW bodywork of former Southern Vectis Bristol RE single-decker 863 on the right dating from 1972 in this view of both vehicles parked up in the yard at the Isle of Wight Bus & Coach Museum in Ryde. The Bristol MW was a popular bus type for the Tilling Group/BTC operators in England and Wales in the late 1950s and 1960s with the examples built for Southern Vectis between 1965 and 1966 surviving in service up until 1977 when they were replaced by more modern Leyland Nationals.
