The Amaran is a 100 LED light, which can be used either as continuous light or as a (manual) flash. It outputs 1020 lux at 0.5 meter in contionuous mode and double that used as a flash. As usual you can use the left or right half only or both and adjust the output between 0 (duh!!) and 100% with a scrollwheel. Color temperature is 5500K +-200 and - being rated CRI 95 - it is very color accurate. Flash sync time is 1/200th and it also works with flash triggers.
